Insourcing solution for 130 SQN
We have the facilities, we have the curriculum, but we lack experienced instructors. The people who have actually done it. They teach from experience, can adapt to our way of working and our department culture. They guide and coach the recruits to the next level. They also share their routines and experience with our instructors, ensuring continuous development and mutual learning.
130 SQN, Royal Air Education and Training Center
130 Squadron part of the Royal Air Education and Training Center, general military training for non-commissioned officers, corporals, and soldiers at Woensdrecht Air Base. The squadron is responsible for the formation of new personnel and ground operations.
The Challenge
Too few experienced instructors to meet Defence's significant growth needs. We require temporary additional capacity that can be deployed flexibly. Our armed forces are growing from 70,000 to 100,000 military personnel. After years of budget cuts, we urgently need extra capacity.
AFG's Solution
AFG provides in-house instructors who are onboarded exactly as the client wishes. They bring a wealth of operational and instructional experience. Due to the client's high demand and ambition, we were able to grow from 0 to 40 instructors in mutual trust. Together with the military instructors of 130 SQN, we deliver the Basic Military Education, the Technical Training: Security and Leadership module, and basic military skills training.
